A new Now poll a day early thanks to the world cup mix-up, Now 20 takes us into the second half of 1991. Notable by its absence is Bryan Adams, whose 16 weeks at #1 was smack in this 'catchment area' and no doubt priced him right out of the compilers' reach. Still, why worry when you have Julian Lennon and Glass Tiger? Note MUCH FUN had by the compilers with track order, especially the U2/PSB segue.

Now 19 was won by a single vote for Massive over the KLF - the cock-up with radio buttons thankfully happened with one of the worst track sequences we've yet seen though if you want to think Innuendo wuz robbed, don't let me stop you. Lots of stuff to talk about on this one so let's get on with it shall we?

I sat down once during 'Sit Down'. In my defence, I was as wrecked as I've ever been in my life, and I probably thought it was an order, rather than a song. Anyway, it was in some shithole in Tenerife, and I sat down and then I got up rather quickly when I realised I'd sat on several smashed pint glasses.

Worth pedantically pointing out that the qns in the poll don't replicate discs - LJ will only let me ask about 15 things at once so the 2 discs of each NOW are split into 3. Disc 2 actually starts with Paul Young.
