A new Now poll a day early thanks to the world cup mix-up, Now 20 takes us into the second half of 1991. Notable by its absence is Bryan Adams, whose 16 weeks at #1 was smack in this 'catchment area' and no doubt priced him right out of the compilers' reach. Still, why worry when you have Julian Lennon and Glass Tiger? Note MUCH FUN had by the compilers with track order, especially the U2/PSB segue.

Now 19 was won by a single vote for Massive over the KLF - the cock-up with radio buttons thankfully happened with one of the worst track sequences we've yet seen though if you want to think Innuendo wuz robbed, don't let me stop you. Lots of stuff to talk about on this one so let's get on with it shall we?

[Poll #664430]

NB: "Full length version"?? They can't actually mean that, can they?

have we got proper demographic data on poptimists btw? if there is a bulge of mid/late 20s, then obviously an song called "let's talk about sex" would have appealed to their 12/13/14 year old branes innit ;)

If only there was someone involved in Poptimists who was expert in collecting and interpreting such things as demographic data.

"I Wanna Sex You Up" is great indeed! Actually I was 18/19 at the time, and thought it was shit - I was mostly into Teenage Fanclub and James back then, and lots of lots of REM backatologue - but I danced to it in a Spanish disco that summer, and there was this German girl who..
Well, details. I secretly liked it back then I guess, and very openly do so now.
Follow-up "All For Love" is even better!
