A new Now poll a day early thanks to the world cup mix-up, Now 20 takes us into the second half of 1991. Notable by its absence is Bryan Adams, whose 16 weeks at #1 was smack in this 'catchment area' and no doubt priced him right out of the compilers' reach. Still, why worry when you have Julian Lennon and Glass Tiger? Note MUCH FUN had by the compilers with track order, especially the U2/PSB segue.

Now 19 was won by a single vote for Massive over the KLF - the cock-up with radio buttons thankfully happened with one of the worst track sequences we've yet seen though if you want to think Innuendo wuz robbed, don't let me stop you. Lots of stuff to talk about on this one so let's get on with it shall we?

[Poll #664430]

Is it just that one song (WHICH I TICKED AND I AM NOT ASHAMED) that you detest, or the entire of Mr MacLean's output?

Vincent I have never been that fond of. (Although I appear to know all the words *anyway*. Oh well. They are now in my head and I will sing them at you later.)

There's a picture of his Greatest Hits at the bottom of the article linked below, which includes Castles In The SkyAir and for a second my memory went wonky and I thought he'd written Seasons in the Sun, in which case he would actually have been the Moriarty of Pop!
