Btw when I say 'In Da Club' is a bit rubbish, obviously I approve of its status as a pop song that I can babble on about it for hours. I just don't like the tune or the dude or the lyrics or the video. Erm.

I moderately enjoy all three but I probably couldn't discuss it for more than 5 seconds before falling into a deep sleep. If you glued us together, you'd have a 50 Cent fan.

I can't tell if I'm kidding either - I'm kinda being driven delirious by werk at the moment, every time I try and write a sentence I get distracted by someone asking me a question.

Let's clear this up once and for all: at the beginning of 'In Da Club' by 50 Cent, he says the following: "Go, go, go, go Charlotte, it's your birthday, we're gonna party like it's your birthday" and so on. Is it her birthday or isn't it? If they're going to party LIKE it's her birthday then some level of pretense is required to compensate for it not being her birthday. HOWEVER in the previous sentence he just said it WAS her birthday. MAKE YR MIND UP FIDDY PEE.

Basically, I love talking nonsense as per the previous paragraph, but it doesn't mean I actually like the song. The poptimist dichotomy there.

Also, I'm pretty sure the next line is, "You know we don't give a fuck it's not your birthday." HOW CAN IT BE BOTH? Maybe the song starts at 11:59:59 PM on her birthday? And he's stating that it is her birthday, and they will continue to party as if it's her birthday even when it's over, and now it's not her birthday but they don't care? Or maybe it's a metaphor, Rihanna-style.

Aha! I have a solution:

Beginning of song is sung at 11.59pm on Charlotte's birthday, and by the time the next line is sung the clock has ticked over to the next day when it is NOT Charlotte's birthday. How about that?
