I know, I wanted to tick them but they really were rub even by electroclash standards (and I loved electroclash) :(

Not that Lamb are a great deal better.

I didn't think so so I looked them up on wikipedia and eek/omg I know one of them!

(wasn't a mcgee's contribution Portobella? they were shit too. Luciana used to be in them. I think. oh electroclash.)

i think EC was their second bite of the cherry -- their first was off at the edges of belgian nu-beat, which is where i came across em (at the end of the crimean war)

still, full marks for them being doughtily persistent when so lame!

oo blimey i'm talkin complete nonsense :D

i am thinking of the "chicks & speed: futurism" EP by lead into gold, who are an offshoot of ministry (so nothing much to do w.belgian nu-beat) (except for RUBBISH IS RUBBISH IS RUBBISH)

I bought a CoS album for £1 once and it still wasn't worth it. They were good at Reading Festival 200-and-something though!

Oy. I quite like 'em. They're patchy but occasionally ace.

Their cover of 'Warm Leatherette' was most unexpected!
