Orbital's fifth album, 'The Middle Of Nowhere' is seriously underrated, and I still can't quite believe they never released a single from it. Jeez, they even had Alison Goldfrapp guesting on vocals, and this was in 1999, years before Goldfrapp would hit it big with Black Cherry.

I'd have voted for 'I Don't Know You People' if it had been released and thus included in this canon.

Oh, I see, you messed up the canon, and they did actually release two singles from the album, 'Style' and 'Nothing Left' (which was the one featuring Alison G). Still, they should've released 'I Don't Know You People'.
I actually only got into Orbital through 'Middle of Nowhere' and then went back and took the history class.

Wasn't Alison Goldfrapp on Snivilisation first? 'Are We Here?' definitely and I think one other. She was on 'Pumpkin' by Tricky around this time too.

I voted Orbital over t'Orb for a greater volume of awesomeness but I would take 'Little Fluffy Clouds' over any Orbital track.

In Sides is the only album by either act I really love (I haven't heard Orbital's first couple).

I keep meaning to! But I always get confused because it's not actually called The Brown Album.

Seriously, you will love the Lush3.1/Lush3.2/Impact/Remind sequence to bits. Boshing yet lush maximalist techno that just keeps evolving.

Eh, that's never been one of my favourite tracks. It's OK, but pales in comparison to what comes after it.

Yeah, it's my favourite. It is a wanky thing to say but it really works as an album.
