i love the 'let's sing the bassline thru the guitar amp' idea, where did they get it from? i think it's quite a cute, playful thing to do, like they're in love with their own bassline or something. and i really like kim deal's voice just naturally - not too sure why, just like the accent i guess. the 'chorus' is strong from a release point of view which also helps, and there seem to be lots of neat little ideas running through the song so lots to hear in that sense. this is why i like it anyway.

Actually, the dealmaker for Cannonball in my hand was suddenly hearing "hey, you, what's that sound, everybody look what's going down" in my head. I like both songs far less than everything else here except Cyndi.
