I nearly made this the first of a 'guilty pleasures' canon series but decided that was non-poptimist. Perhaps a 'coffee-table' series? Brand New Heavies and Desree up next!

I like Alanis! Everything post-Jagged Little Pill is awful but that's a decent album and 'You Oughta Know' is AMAZING still.

I don't mind The Beautiful South. I coul only find it in myself to tick four of their songs but there are worse enemies.
