Tiresome admin bit: I asked on Monday whether we should include the Jackin Pop 2006 results in the overall Pazz and Jop ones. Results were positive but not overwhelming, so I decided to do the poll anyway and if enough people fill it out to make it a comparable sample (hark at the market researcher) it'll count. Otherwise, it won't.
Anyway, 41 tracks, fourteen ticks, here you go.
[Poll #909183]
This also gives me the opportunity for the Joptimists 2005 Top 10!
1. Since U Been Gone (43 votes)
2. 1 Thing (41)
3. Hollaback Girl (34)
4. Hung Up (33)
5. Gold Digger (31)
6. Mr Brightside (26)
7=. I Predict A Lex Coronary (25)
7=. Pon De Replay (25)
9=. Feel Good Inc (24)
9=. Bucky Done Gun (24)

Re: Powter, Blunt, Tashbed, Fergie, Rascal, Booty
Date: 2007-01-18 07:07 pm (UTC)My Chemical Romance get the emo-rock slot in the poll (over Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco, All American Rejects, etc.), though not on this list. To be fair, that's because the popularity of the song has been confined to after December 1. It will be in the top 40 of 2007, I presume. Still, wish it would have been "Move Along".
