NEW FEATURE!
Jul. 31st, 2006 11:44 amAfter Friday's wranglings it came to me that what we need is some kind of scientific way of working out exactly how pop various acts are. I was going to call this simple feature the POPOMETER but
awesomewells came up with a better name.
The idea is very simple - on a 1 to 10 scale, tell us how pop a particular act is. A score of 1 would be given to someone like Nurse With Wound, who are not very pop at all. A score of 10 might go to Britney Spears, or ABBA, both of whom are extremely pop. Over the weeks the results of these polls will build up to a body of incontrovertible evidence as to the popticity of our hott music starz.
[Poll #782116]
(If you neither know nor care who the Lex is just give the same answer to both questions!)

Date: 2006-07-31 11:13 am (UTC)I still don't see how The Killers can be considered pop AT ALL.
Neil Tennant is going senile. He hasn't made any good music for over a decade anyway (apart from 'Miracles' which was a fluke).
