Great rejoicing at Lex Towers as Aaliyah finally wins a Now poll - she's in it again, as are a few other former winners, as are the Sugababes, and Scooter, Ms Dynamite, Nelly and...Idlewild. Summer 2002 - it was really hot, there was some terrific pop in the charts and a World Cup was on. How times change...

Ever since this song, whenever ANYONE has said "it's hot in here" which used to be a PERFECTLY INNOCUOUS phrase - ever since this song, every time I have heard that without fail, I am ALWAYS seized with the desire to respond "so take off all your clothes", and sometimes I actually do this, and sometimes it is NOT APPROPRIATE!

I *hated* it at the time, primarily due to how annoying the chorus is. Time has mellowed me on this one and I ticked it this time round.

Yes! TOP TUNE. I also always think - though do not say - "so take off all your clothes".

I am surprised it is doing quite so well, though, I remember some people disliking it quite strongly at the time.
