Great rejoicing at Lex Towers as Aaliyah finally wins a Now poll - she's in it again, as are a few other former winners, as are the Sugababes, and Scooter, Ms Dynamite, Nelly and...Idlewild. Summer 2002 - it was really hot, there was some terrific pop in the charts and a World Cup was on. How times change...
[Poll #746498]
TICKNO TICKNO TICKNO TICKNO!
This will be the LAST Now poll for over TWO WEEKS as I'm on holiday from Wednesday, so enjoy it while you can. The final 12 volumes in the series will occupy us nicely during July and August I'm sure.

These are two of the best pop-dance tracks this decade! Why the no tickies? (I can see Moony being a bit florid and Euro for some people's tastes, but "At Night" is a MONSTER!)

Date: 2006-06-12 02:36 pm (UTC)I think maybe this and DBB fell between two stools - too pop for bosh-heads and not song-y enough for pop purists.
Or maybe people are just mental.
