The shortlist might well be decided by sales but the winner is based on dudes voting. Except I tried voting for Pass Out on the Brits website and it wouldn't let me register to vote, or even use my Facebook login without giving me a 404 error. FAIL.

"The 10 nominated singles have been selected based on the greatest volume of commercial radio air-play, as well as sales results in the 2010 calendar year."
