That Peter Kay record really is awful. And simply does not work w/o visuals - who the hell are these ppl "singing" on it? (That's a rhetorical question btw)

Yet again I have to remember that this is the run-up to Christmas and therefore people who never buy music suddenly start buying music. But even by the lame standards of charity records this is particularly malodorous. Perhaps the worst thing about it is that it's going to give Elbow a number one. 69K copies so far in the midweeks so no reason to believe that it won't. Rihanna being shut out of both top tens speaks volumes.
