Cheers erupt from the J-Lo fanclub as she squeezes into the final behind Outkast, Eve & Gwen, Missy and Mis-teeq. Sophie E-B on the other hand is wiping her tears on Dude from The Feeling's velvet jacket sleeve.

On to heat #6, which is absolutely banging in my opinion, but who will make it through?

Almost entirely complete! I think about three or four tracks were missing (including the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, annoyingly because I have never heard it and I love their current album).

Also I would super appreciate feedback on this one since a couple of times I had to make judgement calls as to whether I had the right track or not, especially for tracks where there were a lot of remixes/edits/etcetera. If I have the wrong version of something up please let me know!

Ha it is very difft to the new album, their sound has evolved so much. The first EP, which I thought was released in 2002 but APPARENTLY NOT and aaargh 'Bang' has missed its chance - anyway, scuzzy, stop-starty, very lo-fi garage rock, and this is the sincere love song/scene anthem which closes it. It's OK but who the hell put this forward and not 'Bang'? 'Bang' was their first signature song and it's raucous, fierce and fucking great - AS A FUCK, SON, YOU SUCK! AS A FUCK, SON, YOU SUCK!
