Cheers erupt from the J-Lo fanclub as she squeezes into the final behind Outkast, Eve & Gwen, Missy and Mis-teeq. Sophie E-B on the other hand is wiping her tears on Dude from The Feeling's velvet jacket sleeve.

On to heat #6, which is absolutely banging in my opinion, but who will make it through?

This was when Basement Jaxx were ALL GOOD ALL THE TIME and the video is also fantastic. It isn't as good as Lucky Star but it is stopping me want to kill my boss for offering the work experience a biscuit and not me (yes, I am a performing seal) so it must be doing something right.

Not offering all your employees a biscuit = take it to the industrial tribunal imo. Terrible behaviour.

I don't really like the Jaxx singles off Rooty that much, 'Romeo' is too jaunty and 'Where's Your Head At' too lairy - of their three good albums it's def my least fav. Weird considering how much I love Remedy and Kish Kash.
