Cheers erupt from the J-Lo fanclub as she squeezes into the final behind Outkast, Eve & Gwen, Missy and Mis-teeq. Sophie E-B on the other hand is wiping her tears on Dude from The Feeling's velvet jacket sleeve.

On to heat #6, which is absolutely banging in my opinion, but who will make it through?

Those are HALF OF MY TICKS, PEOPLE. And if I had enough ticks for Salt Sweat Sugar as well then the above list (minus Radiohead) would basically sum up the sort of nightclubs I regularly attended in 2001.

SvDN is the best thing the Lostprophets have done BY ABSOLUTE MILES: pop hooks, vocal harmonies, big riffs, doesn't sound like it was recorded in a car park round the back of a shopping centre in Newport... even if the video *was* filmed in said car park:

Best thing they ever did? Yes. It will certainly be making an appearance in my (shamelessly plugged) top 100 songs of the decade (http://noughtieshits.blogspot.com).

But best thing "by absolute miles"? What about 'Last Train Home'? I really like that too. The rest of their stuff is fairly pants though.

Yes. It's fucking brilliant. (Although I'm quite a fan of "Ode To Summer" too). But seriously, post first-album, they went downhill fast...

Last Train Home= actually the best Lostprophets song. However, SNVDN might have to have something else swapped out for it because I had forgotten how ace it is.

Ah, Ian Watkins; where did it all go wrong? (Angsty album about breaking up with Fearne Cotton, obv.)
