Cheers erupt from the J-Lo fanclub as she squeezes into the final behind Outkast, Eve & Gwen, Missy and Mis-teeq. Sophie E-B on the other hand is wiping her tears on Dude from The Feeling's velvet jacket sleeve.

On to heat #6, which is absolutely banging in my opinion, but who will make it through?

I do not like a lot of what Nelly's done since but SERIOUSLY.

Did we miss the opportunity to nom 'Girlfriend,' incidentally, or is that yet to come?

This is very possibly the summer jam to end all summer jams.

She can be eighteen (18) with an attitude
Or 19, kinda snotty, actin' real rude...

lookin for a lil shortie hot and horny suttin i can take home

It's one of about fifty songs I don't even have to think about the lyrics to because they are ingrained on my soul ♥ (and absolute rubbish, I might add, as all summer jam lyrics should be)

Presuming you mean the N*Sync track by that name, anyway. It's definitely 2002, because that's when it charts in the UK.

BLOODY HELL I've been wondering for YEARS what this is when it's come on the radio and never known! TICK TICK TICK. (This is what I get for not having gone far enough back in Nelly's back catalogue yet, I guess. Had a similar -- if not as strong -- moment of recognition with Country Grammar as well.)
