We have a new number 1! The Black Eyed Peas knock JLS off the top with a deafening cry of 'Mazel Tov' - but what other terrifying new entries await us this week?

[Poll #1439002]

Reminder - you have until tomorrow lunchtime to vote in Heat #5 of 2001, in which there is much wailing and gnashing of teeth going on as to the fate of one Ms Jennifer Lopez...

Also stay tuned for some exciting Indie action later on this afternoon!

You probably don't need to.

Flo Rida tick is the most lukewarm thing ever, mostly due to relief that he's not sampling any terrible 90s eurocheese on it. Sigh, generally.

I don't dislike 'I Gotta Feeling' but it's oddly unmemorable for something so determined to be an anthem. It sort of dissipates even as you're listening to it. I don't get why the "mazeltov" bit is exciting either.

I like I Gotta Feeling more every time I hear it - but now you mention it, I can't actually call to mind the tune or any of the lyrics in particular.

I really like it but find it difficult to process how much it genuinely sounds like The Killers. Also the video is well rub.

I am very happy that they've replaced JLS at the top. When the BEPs release their greatest hits package, and one surely can't be far off, it may well be the Best Album of the 00s.

idk, there are more A+ songs on one Fergie album than the BEPs have had as a group in their whole career, and their best songs are basically Fergie songs anyway. I find much of the new album curiously anonymous.

oh, I'm counting solo stuff as BEPs in the above comment

I might possibly go and listen to the Flo Rida in a minute but it very much depends on whether this artisan baguette thing makes me ok or whether I have to reserve my energy for not dying.

Actually yes, that might definitely get a tick. Hurrah for d'n'b.

I really wish Sub Focus would hurry up and get his album out. "Follow the Light", only available as a single and somewhere in the middle of Nightlife 4, is fucking awesome.

I have never heard any Sub Focus before (well, not and realised it's him anyway) but this is highly relevant to my interests.

Obviously just audio but: here it is. 1:07 onwards; heck yes, and 2 minutes onwards when the actual bassline comes in: YES PLEASE.
