**Why is this a nominated cateogory? Either it's the best selling song or it isn't, surely?

I think it's interesting that all the nominees perform the work in question as well as write it. A few years ago Amanda Ghost won something for co-writing Beautiful Liar (even though it was mostly Stargate produced) but apart from that I don't know any recent songwriter-only winners.
