It's the first Saturday of the month this week, which means - it's a Poptimism night! 8pm - 2am in the Cross Kings, at Kings Cross, with your regular DJs will be joined by guest6 catsgomiaow, who promises a voyage of exploration into a bygone decade, alongside the usual parade of tunes big and semi-big and BIG-TO-BE.

Also! The rumoured return of CAKE HOUR (though I'm not sure where these cakes will be coming from - I will be trying my hand at some again tho)

Also also! I have made a MUXTAPE for Poptimism, a mix of new tunes we might play and a few old-time gems. If this is your first time using Muxtape, it's a streaming mixtape web app - you just click on the first track (or wherever you want to start) then sit back and let them play (I wrote a bit about it here). actually i quite like it at this pitch too (you could mix it in/out of 'Wearing My Rolex'! theoretically at least) but it also seems very wrong after seeing the video where it's typical Scooter speed
