Another Friday, another round of chart farts Pop Trumps!

Go here to read the rules, but it's easy really. Rate the pop act below in the various categories: 10 is the highest, 0 is the lowest, if you have zero clue then go for 5.

Today's contestants were doing a Top 50 Brilliant Boybands thing on Hits!TV the other night, and modestly only included 5 of their own songs! They also like pointing at things.

Backstreet Boys are excellent, the best pop act of their era. I voted "The Call" for best single, but all of them are pretty good. "Shape of My Heart" = underrated. Can somebody who voted them points on Extracurricular Activity give some insight into what extracurriculars they have that are points worthy?

BTW I fully expect "Everybody" to feature prominently on the FT top 100 songs of all time.

Come to think of it, Nick Carter had a really terrible reality show on American TV too, but that only makes me more likely to retain my 0.

I assume "their era" means the pop scene of the 90s. I can name about a billion pop acts from that era that are better than the Backstreet Boys. Britney Spears, Spice Girls, Hanson, Mandy Moore, just to name a few. Also, 'NSync, but that just goes without saying. :)

Obviously, I already know all of these acts already. I genuinely think that BSB are better than any of them.

n.b. If you count latter era Brit she probably overtakes them.

I assumed you knew...I was just shocked that you'd still say BSB is better while acknowledging their existence.

To clarify, I think that BSB are a better singles act than any of the ones listed above, not necessarily a better act overall. I'd say if you count album tracks, mentalism, impact, etc. Spice Girls and Brit are close to BSB and maybe overtake them.
