Miss Trina! Should have been higher but at least there.

I thought Amy Winehouse would be higher, though I didn't think she'd be represented by 'Rehab' which is from well inside 2006 and feels much older. I was quite close to voting for 'Back To Black'.

Her whole album just feels like a 2006 item - like 'Say It Right' and 'Glamorous' I didn't really feel I should vote for 'Back To Black' because even though it was an 07 single its impact was more from the previous year. Lord knows how 'Rehab' ended up here though.

I voted for "Rehab". Admittedly at the time I submitted my ballot I'd forgotten it was originally a 2006 release. But Amy's pretty much dominated 2007 for good or ill and I've warmed to her more and more as time has worn on. (Literally today I ordered the album from Amazong.) This track still seems to me the most significant track, even though I like all the singles taken from the album. Loads of different people have covered it now, from GA to Justin to Shawn Lee's Ping Pong Orchestra. I particularly liked Wayne Marshall's parody, "Weed Bag" (which in turn further boosted my regard for the writing and the arrangement of the original).

Also it's been in the charts ever since the download rules were relaxed - still in the Top 75 now.

If I'd done my list based on stuff I'd got into during 2007 (of whatever era), then "Rehab" would have been on it, and probably quite high.

Every time Amy's had a public meltdown this year, 'Rehab' has gone back up the charts.

"Rehab" was 2007 in the Murrica; just as "Say It Right" was 2006 in the Land Of Vespucci.

'Rehab' which is from well inside 2006

Not for Americans, though -- we got "You Know I'm No Good" first, "Rehab" second, in the beginning of 2007.

Oh yeah you had that funny Ghostface guest verse on 'You Know I'm No Good'. Funny peculiar (a bit funny ha ha, too).

I forget where I saw this, and have mislaid the link, but 'Back To Black' was one of Nicole Richie's top 7 singles of 07. To which I say, where is your own long-awaited album, bitch?

Probably on ONTD (http://community.livejournal.com/ohnotheydidnt/19028731.html) -- she ranked it right above "Valerie," guess she's a fan of the whole Ronson family.

Was "Dandelions" actually Nicole, does anyone know?
