It's quite '80s-influenced and reminds me a bit of Miley Cyrus. I could do without the ~-QuiRk3E-~ delivery, but the "ay yay yay yay yay" chorus is very catchy, I think.

As I feared, this is getting no radio play, at least not so far. 9 spins on top 40 nationwide in six days, according to Mediabase.

The good news is that Miley Cyrus's "See You Again" (which as far as I know is not being promoted as a single and is getting no Radio Disney play and is by a performer who as far as I know never got any Top 40 play before this) is at 933 spins in the last week on Top 40; this is not a huge amount (compare to "Apologize"'s 11,035), but is more than Aly & A.J.'s "Potential Breakup Song" ever got on Top 40, and unlike PBUS, this has broken through in New York. Last I heard "See You Again" is running neck and neck with "Nobody's Perfect" in Miley/Hannah downloads on iTunes, again with no Disney play. So there's some kind of audience demand here, it would seem. (Also, it's a tremendous song.)

Those are U.S. numbers, by the way. "Outta My Head" could do better in Britain. The only chance this has in Murrica, I'm guessing, is if/when a video comes out it gets a lot of TRL action and heavy play on Launch Yahoo and AOL Music (and YouTube); the track probably is getting iTunes downloads, which may influence programmers a little. It may benefit from the declining importance of radio.

Would have done better if it had been billed as Timbaland f. Ashlee Simpson (not that it should have been other than to get airplay and downloads).
