A specially mixed bag on this category which attempted to replace last year's unsatisfactory genre of the year. This mix of new genres, dubious developments and personal pleasures does a little better though!

B-b-but you're not taking into account the umbrella dance that I detailed over on Best Thing To Dance To. (Some of you, however, will carp that the umbrella dance actually belongs to Stars Going Mental, which is what got my vote here.)
