Hey Popsters!

I just watched a countdown of perfect pop records from each of the last twenty years. 

My brain was hit by the fact there are people in here who know A LOT about perfect pop and making music.

Was wondering whether any of you were up for forming a band (self not included) and taking on the challenge of the 'perfect Poptimist pop record'?

I can't play an instrument but I have a dog-eared copy of the Manual and an MP3 of "Mouldy Old Dough".

- morrissey ( or more gorrectly his pianist, michael farrell ) played mouldy old dough to a very puzzled audience at the london palladium a gouple of years ago - so now i'm q.fond of the tune

I remember you claiming that the real reason you didn't like Baxendale was the realisation that this was what you and yr mates would sound like if they were a band.

Yes I've said this about a lot of things - I know very well that if I actually made "tunes" they would tend towards mimsical indie.
