I know why I'm confused - C and I heard this being played somewhere and both went 'oh, so the Zuton thing was a cover version' before we actually worked out that this was probably an ironic hipster reworking of what was already a tragically boring song. SHAME ON YOU POPTIMISTS!

the ronson version alBUM is GREAT (except R Williams doing "the only one i know"), i don't think it's "ironic hipster"...

It's more like "soulboy revival" - I am pretty conflicted about it cos the "Stop Me" one grew on me a lot, but I don't think this can get past the boringness of the song, and Winehouse's singing does nothing for me as per.

the radiohead one's cracking, ditto apply some pressure, and the instrumental clodplay one.

winehouse and lallen both ok on it, but yeah, not a great song to start with.

The version of 'Toxic' is AWFUL - the entire project is to funk what Jamiroquai was to soul. Ronson is quite fit though.
