She did that Love Is A Battlefield thing.

Also, she was ahead of her time! She had an album called Gravity's Rainbow years before Klaxons nicked the title.

Everyone has told you why Pat Benatar is famous, but it's perfectly possible that the name rings a bell because of Mylo's 'Destroy Rock & Roll' (the title track from the album) where he lists all those who have "destroyed" rock'n'roll.

"Big Country, Morris Day & The Time, John Lennon, Apollonia 6, REO Speedwagon, David Gilmour, The Rolling Stones, Pat Benatar, Hall & Oates, Wham, Rebbie Jackson, Adam Ant, Bananarama, Christine McVie, Queen, John Cougar Mellencamp, U2, Serious, Fleetwood Mac, The Alan Parsons Project, Rick Springfield, The Thompson Twins, Missing Persons, Duran Duran, Missing Persons, Duran Duran, Missing Persons, Duran Duran Duran Duran Duran"

Shurely you have! It's a sample of some mentalist American preacher inditing all music that makes you shake it.

No, no, he is in support of rock and roll I think. It's just a sample of a US preacher having a go at popular music.
