I Love #1's - 1998
Jun. 13th, 2007 12:15 pmOooooo-oo-ooooo-oo! 'Baby Love' was the top of the ticks for 1964, Diana & co just beating the Kinks and Sandie Shaw. The Bachelors didn't get a single vote, and will slomp off home infront of the telly with a microwave meal for one. Between all of them! This week we bid adieu to Girl Power, welcome back Madge and ponder the ultimate question: what would one resemble with a 'chimney' bestowed upon one in the near future? It's 1998!

CELINE PARADOX
Date: 2007-06-13 11:40 am (UTC)Time has been kind to it - it's passed the 9-year (!) threshold of forgiveness after being EVERYWHERE ALL THE TIME FOR MONTHS AND MONTHS and 1) we can still remember it word for word 2) she's done MUCH WORSE since 3) I would probably do this at karaoke for a laugh 4) her ridiculous singing accent! "ewww haf komm tyew sho ewww, gwooooorn" cracks me up every time.
I might go back and tick it.

Date: 2007-06-13 07:11 pm (UTC)I HAVE done this.
I can't believe I forgot to tick this! It annoyed me at the time, but if it comes on the radio now I have to listen to it, there's something so ridiculous and ott about it that makes it fun.
