(Oh there it is on Frank's ballot.) Wait, bigger travesty, NO "CROSSROADS." If it weren't for that song I might have never learned how to feel deeply. That Mariah/B2M thing lasted 4ever if I remember correctly, only a fluke like the Macarena could have unseated it from the #1 spot.

Funny, I think Gwen has one of the worst singing voices in pop history, but she manages to - sporadically but without end - do interesting stuff. I would be curious to hear Kelly C or someone with an equally "legitimate" voice try "Don't Speak" and see how her version stacks up against Gwen's. It's a song that invites oversinging, which Gwen avoids, of necessity. As for "X-roads," I'd never been able to stand that particular type of sing-rap, seemed really wanky, until Nelly came along. Still don't like "Crossroads."
