A special poptimists poll to celebrate jauntyalan's Wedding to Emma, the new Mrs Jaunty. Many of your poptimist correspondents were at this wedding yesterday and danced to a selection of tunes spun by carsmilesteve and thebarnetape (with occasional consultancy by yrs trly).

This selection is brought to us by The Wedding Party box set, yours for £8.99 from Amazon. I was going to buy this from Woolworth's yesterday morning but they were out of it so I made some Popular CDs instead. Eagle-eyed readers may spot one (1) track that was not on the original tracklist for this album.

Agreed. I went to the wedding where the bride and groom plugged in a laptop with a rub itunes playlist programmed in. Where's the fun in that? Plus towards the end of the night the bride inevitably ended up spending twenty minutes trying to find the one other song she wanted to hear.
