RIGHT. Let's get this one over with. Now 61 is not a very good Now album. The impression of badness is enhanced by Now's sudden decision to move all the great pop tracks to the arse end of disc 2, part of the general loss of faith in pop that was sweeping the blogosphere world in 2005, at least before this very community came along to SORT IT OUT.

Gwen Stefani is your winner on Now 60, by the way.

And Miss Faith! And 'Slow Down' which is just gorgeous and romantic and swoonsome but also just a tiny bit...odd. "Never seen anything so lonely" as chat-up line, hmm.

I continue to miss something re love for what sounds to me like a very very ordinary Mariah ballad in 'We Belong Together'

I like the Faith Evans tho

Surely one of the ex-Jukebox crew will have it.

It's v v v lite crunk'n'b.

'We Belong Together' might be on the next one? It makes me cry and everything, all those different phrasings, Mariah kind of swimming through the lyrics as if they are her tears, the kind of song which is your bestest friend and you know everything about it and it knows everything about you, and "wait a minute this is too deep, too deep".

Also I am going to do a CD of pop ballads called ABJECTION, and this will be its centrepiece.

The only reason anyone likes dull "We Belong Together" is because of the alleged hawtness of Wentworth Miller in the video.
