For the second Now running, Girls Aloud find themselves in second place, this time by one vote to Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me A River". They get a third shot in the Now 56 poll, covering the end of 2003 - and Justin's back too, though it may well be that neither of them wins it.

Good times, bad times? You decide.

AND IF MORE PEOPLE DON'T START TICKING IT THERE WILL BE TROUBLE.

Shall I just continue talking to myself about how wondrous this song is? It's careless and fragile at the same time, Lumidee's botherd and casual but also totally invested in her lyrics, she's singing to herself and to her boy at the same time, she's singing without realising she's singing, it's like she's just wandering round her room doing something else but her subconscious is doing the singing and five minutes after the song ends she'll come out of her reverie with a start and suddenly realise that she'd been thinking out loud and in melody. It's so intimate and lovely and tender and catchy and you can sway your hips gently to it and everything a pop song should be and I LOVE IT.
