What fun we had with Now 50, which Kylie won at a canter, though with decent shouts from Britney and Bouncy. Kylie takes her place next to S Club in the pop and poll hall of fame. Sadly I have to report that Now 51 is less obviously glittering, though obviously your mileage may wobble. Some definite highlights though as we slide gently into 2002. And big hellos to Daniel Bedroomeyes, Christina Milian and...Nickelback!

Who would win a trash-off between Xtina and Britters?

Hmm. If we're just talking pure SEXXX, Xtina hands down (and up and everywhere else). Britney was at least able, when she claimed to be a virgin, to make the world think "hmmm...is she?" Xtina claimed the same, and I think the collective reaction was "shyeah right!" And of course, 'Dirrty' took on the video challenge Britney set with 'I'm A Slave 4 U' and raised it a hundredfold.

However, Britney's clothes are a lot trashier these days :(

You're on the money with the virgin thing. Nowadays though... I think Britters currently wins the bargain basement trash award, while Xtina is more the slutty courtesan in an underground Turkish harem type thing.
