2001: A Pop Odyssey! As the Now series gets ever closer to today, a significant first - the first (modern) reality TV pop hit in the form of "Pure And Simple". Also debuting: Gorillaz, Bob The Builder, unlikely Poptimist icons Feeder, and nu-metal in the apologetic shape of Papa Roach.

All Saints' "Pure Shores" won Now 47 - hatas can reflect that it got one of the lowest winning %ages ever, with only 2/3 approval. Modjo second, Nelly third, and EVERYTHING got at least one vote - will we be able to say the same after this poll?

I find it very difficult to form an opinion on this Now due to hardly remembering anything on it at all. Unfortunately this included the very existence of Papa Roach up until about 5mins ago.
