When he was being all "I'm in it to win it" last night he looked weirdly convinced and unconvinced, like he is some standard issue shy bloke who's been hypnotised to believe he'll win Eurovision, but who doesn't have the muscle memory of looking persuasively confident.
Has he made records before? What are "his bus stop tracks"?
He used to be the rapper/producer for Bus Stop, who specialised in remakes of old 70s and 80s records. They did the hit version of "Kung Fu Fighting" in 1998 (on which Daz is magnificent), and "You Ain't Seen Nothin Yet".
He also was half of Rikki and Daz, who did a version of "Rhinestone Cowboy", though I don't remember hearing that.
