I have sat at a party while some cvnt with an acoustic guitar played American Pie for seven hours (subjective time - my watch broke after three), and so I cannot forgive it in almost any form.

the interesting thing about american pie, is that i think it is the place where he voic e is the most compoent--she has never been a great singer, but she sings v. well here, warmly, an with a restraint...i am not sure i like it, but thats worth noting
