Not expecting the popularity of the first focused Shine, featuring not only indieism but GOTHISM in the form of Sheee-sheee-sheee-YEEENE ONNNN, a crack team of Addidas wearing 'yoof' was pulled together to create today's poll fodder in the form of Shine:2. Or, SHINE TOO, because, they were clever, do you see. Gigolo Aunts perhaps the first symptom of the Britpop drivetime tendency? I mean, guys. Like, SRSLY. Although, I think I liked it at the time. Young pups Ash get to mingle with their elders and betters whilst the retro factor is continued with The Div, as no-one ever calls Joy Division, and some old todgers qui s'appelle, Le Happy Mondays. alang, it was c. 3 months before britpop proper, OF COURSE it only got to 56, that's where all indie records went...
