Welcome to Now 29, the summer of 1994, and The Big One as far as some Poptimists regulars are concerned - some legendary pop tunes, some legendary horrors, the first (and maybe ONLY) appearance of JUNGLE on a Now, the first (and far from only) appearance of WASIS, Kylie at the height of her Select-induced critical acclaim, boyband minnows Ultimate Kaos and 2wo 3hirds, the mighty Whigfield, AND MORE! What can possibly win???

Meanwhile when the dust settled on Now 28 none other than BLUR had won it, by one vote over Salt N Pepa and En Vogue, with Prodigy in third. What does this BODE as the Britpop years get rolling?
