Speaking of freakytrigger, that email address is being spammed by indie record labels like never before, all offering me promos. (Your reporter made his excuses and etc.) I am guessing this is to do with the NYLPM valedictory in Pitchfork, though you'd think basic reading skills would have taken in the fact that I was closing the site. Will no man rid me of these turbulent Sufjan wannabes?

And speaking of spam, the Popular comments boxes are subject to a minor invasion of same - is there a way to IP ban from blogger comments, or even delete? I can't find one. It's mostly concentrated round older entries but I really don't want it overtaking the boxes and ruining the good thing I have 'going' there.

tom, i have managed to rip a cd track on to a computer - it's in windows media format, i can't get it in any other format (definitely not by tomorrow!), is this ok?

2) Hm do you think there among voters is an AUDIOPHILE STREETTEAM against providing 128 kbps mp3 for the PWC? I have a couple of tracks at only this bitrate and have considered turning them into .wavs and reencoding at 224 or something just to throw them OFF THEIR SCENT. Except now I've revealed my plans oh noes, except that means I won't do it, obv.

2) Oh forget it, just noticed someone posted an 64 one. I did notice it was a bit tinny ( = how I know twas 64), but letting that influence voting would be like judging the excellence of a football match by the quality of the tv transmission.
