It has me in it, a little bit, and some other poptimists too. Some poor records get props this week. I like the diversity of the new format but I also miss its parochialism, actually seeing where in the charts all these tunes got to, and the gritted teeth as we had to 'tackle' hopeless post-Libertines wannabes yet again.

Ouch, was that so obvious? I toyed with a reference to that "Everything sounds like Coldplay now" song, and then saying "Even Japanese people!", but Snow Patrol.. well, it just SOUNDS like it, doesn't it?

Also: should I keep you up to date on the Partysquad's chart placing in the NL, Tom? ;-)

(Also: yes, Morningwood is aces. And so is Miranda. Have given up on trying to understand Hawley love)

no diss intended, dude, it really does! I love it tho because, er, Patrick McNally's blurb == about me. (it's the current no.3 in japan off the back of use in a very very sad drama.)

The Hawley thing is completely incomprehensible, innit?
