It has me in it, a little bit, and some other poptimists too. Some poor records get props this week. I like the diversity of the new format but I also miss its parochialism, actually seeing where in the charts all these tunes got to, and the gritted teeth as we had to 'tackle' hopeless post-Libertines wannabes yet again.

Seriously! You apply an indie mindset to the appreciation of pop.

Though since Konichiwa Records _is_ independent, your assessment of Robyn as indie is quite accurate.

but i know that part of the joke is that i know i like some indie! (which is not the same as being indie.)
