Apologies for the extreme tardiness of this poll - I was on a BUSINESS TRIP, get me! JLS are in at #1 with this year's Children In Need track; some ancient band have squeezed into the top 40 after taking a zillion years to get their rights sorted out, with a song that only 9 people like anyway.

End of year watch: Next week it will be DECEMBER and the beginnings of the poptimists year-end polls. So there are two things to get cracking on:

The best thing I've found about it is that when I first heard it I thought it was kind of annoying, then it's slowly earwormed into this slick monster.

I am not sure that Holland & Holland will appreciate my listening to it in their reception area.

I have dutifully gone back and ticked anything I've heard post-polling day that I've really liked! Alas, this only amounted to about three more ticks, but I'm sure this is my fault and not pop music's. I hope so, anyway...
