I imagine most of you will have seen this already ages ago, but this is making me very happy right now and I only just found it, so have a listen.

Agree with you about aceterrier, whose name is Jonathan Bogart and who I've discovered is usually ace. Here are some of his other Websites:

Bilbo's Laptop, where Jonathan is steadily and systematically writing about every song to hit number one on Billboard's Hot Latin Tracks chart since the chart started in September 1986, just as in Popular Tom writes about every song to hit number one on the UK Singles chart since that chart's beginning in November 1952.

Don't Stay Up Too Late where Jonathan writes in depth on music from decades past (e.g., 100 Great Records Of The 1920s and 100 Great Rock & Roll Songs of the 1950s), though he doesn't shun the present in that blog either.

Things Saved From The Wreck, where Jonathan writes about books, music, films, and comics.

Ace Terrier: World's Greatest Plumber, a comic in which Jonathan portrays the adventures of Ace Terrier, World's Greatest Plumber, who seems to have longer ears than the average plumber, and probably a better sense of smell, also.

He also manages Argentina in the Pop World Cup.

Anyhow, an awesome amount of stuff, very little of which I've read, but if you've been checking my own lj you'll know that I consider Jonathan's writeups on Ke$ha to be superb. He's basically been spearheading the discussion, ahead of the other writers in my sight, including me, both to get that Ke$ha is important and sometimes good and to dig far into what's going on in her music. Presumably Jonathan's quality doesn't slack off in any of his other written endeavors, though I've just discovered the guy so have months of catching up to do. If he doesn't turn up to be my numero uno musicwrite find of the year I will be shocked.

(I provide a set of links to his and other people's Ke$ha writing here and here.)

Clarification

(Is Jonathan, not the long-eared plumber, who manages Argentina.)

One of the confusing things is that there is also a Jonathan Bradley whom I recently discovered through the Singles Jukebox who wrote very well about Taylor Swift.
