Surprise here IMO is the Peas - I didn't think many people liked it, I thought those that DID like it were sick of it, I thought more people would go for "Boom Boom Pow", but no, here it is, and it was top 10 for most of the process.

Hurrah for I gotta Feeling. I may have been trolling slightly by giving it my top rating. I am very *nearly* sick of it, but surprised by how well it holds up. I didn't get the Boom Boom Pow thing at all.

Here's my favorite fan vid for "I Gotta Feeling," is what really got me to understand its good-humored appeal. Feels more like a fuck-around-in-the-day song than a night-party song, anyway. (Not that I voted for it.)

I found the standard video v.v.likable - it totally converted me to the song! What I liked was the massive honesty about whom the target market for the song actually was - obviously it ended up expanding beyond them but it was great to see it being upfront about being a song for that kind of girl!
