You know, small children *still* follow Brandon Flowers in the street, pointing and laughing, all due to that line in "All These Things That I've Done". But putting it front and centre and making it the main hook of this cover version works quite spectacularly I think. Even on the third viewing I still got a little lump in my throat.

Goddamn. Totally agree - it keeps that necessarily epic feel without the usual charity song cliches. Love it.
