After reading Tom's Popular entry on Paul Hardcastle, it struck me that here at poptimists we have never come to a firm decision about which Top Of The Pops theme is best! There's only one way to rectify the situation:

I don't remember that Vince Clarke one at all and not sure I've ever actually heard it before.

The Tony Gibber one was first used between '91/'92 and '95 tho surely. I totally remember it replacing 'The Wizard', but no interweb to complain about this on :(
