So Jade 'did quite well at Eurovision' Ewen replaces Keisha in the Sugababes!

Um. I have a feeling I am the only one who *is* interested! Now that LOVELY HEIDI is IN CHARGE this feels like a turning point - this could mean a big turnaround in their fortunes! Or they could spend all day going up and down in lifts looking for geeky blokes in cardigans! I JUST DON'T KNOW.

I feel it should be run a bit like the Boxing championship belts. There should be a list of contenders for each "title" (i.e place in the group), and every so often, the #1 contender for each position could have a sing-off against the incumbent. So SuBo versus Amelle, for instance. Winner gets to be a Sugababe, loser gets to stumble out of clubs at 4am and sell their story to OK magazine.

Also, yes, I have been contacted about my future availability, should the Sugababes lose another member.

I'm just pleased it's Keisha who's gone rather than Amelle as rumoured on Sunday. Not that I hate or even dislike Keisha, I just love the, um, symmetry(?) of the "no original members left" thing. It's like Invasion Of The Bodysnatchers, guys!

I am torn between thinking 'oh noes end of a.n. era' and 'ha ha Menudo-tastic'. I see no reason they won't deliver future killer singles, except that the current one is SO woeful. NB: have only heard half of current single on the charts show and wasn't paying attention but still THAT WAS MORE THAN ENOUGH.
