This should have been on Wednesday but I was busy looking for places to rent. I don't think the extra day affected the top five, tho.

So here we go: the top 5 tracks YOU felt were most deserving of the coveted Second Chance! But: there can be only ONE! Choose!

This poll closes around when Kat starts up the first poll for 2003, which is probably roughly Tuesday lunchtime!

[Poll #1455689]

The songs which Poptimists apparently think are worse than the Dandy Warhols (!), The Strokes, Sophie Meh-lis Bextor and Andrew fucking WK.

Ludacris ft Nate Dogg - Area Codes
Sticky ft Ms Dynamite - Booo
MOP - Cold As Ice
Jay-Z - Girls Girls Girls
Jay-Z - Heart Of The City (Ain't No Love)
Aaliyah - I Care 4 U
Missy Elliott - Lick Shots
Joe ft. Mystikal - Stutter
Ludacris ft. Trina, Shawnna & Foxy Brown - What's Your Fantasy? (Remix)

Seriously? Those are utter classics there. Those are NOT worse than the Strokes. Get out of your fucking indie discos, for fuck's sake.

I love MOPs's Ante Up, but Cold as Ice is in no way as good as any of the five songs in the poll. It's bloody rubbish. I'm all for righteous fury and stomping about like you know better than everyone else, but on that one you should have a sit down and a bit of a think.

All the others, especially the Jay-Z and Ludacris tracks are incredible and it's hard to believe they haven't got through... but still. Democracy and all that.
