The Best British Male category is a total joke. Live Act too. Half of the other categories are also at least 60% awful.

Presumably the Pet Shop Boys award is to appease people who actually like music.

I think Will Young's nomination is justified (great 2008 album, two great 2008 singles) although having him *win* Best British Male rly isn't aiming our sights particularly high. However the other noms are just baffling. Why not Wiley or Taio Cruz?
